Before we meet

The Questionnaire

Before the course I need to know your business from the inside.

This isn't paperwork: it's what lets me build the day around your business instead of giving you a generic course. The more clearly you tell me – especially about what isn't working – the closer the day will be to what you need.

And if you still don't know which of the two days you need more, don't decide on your own: answer this and I'll tell you.

You can fill it in on your phone and send it with one button. Ten minutes if you do it in one go. It saves itself as you type: you can close it, carry on tomorrow and lose nothing. Nothing you write goes any further than me.

The Intensive · two days
Each one 10:00–19:00
On your own, in twos or in threes · 3 max
Section 1

Who you are

The basics, so I know who you are before we start.

If you don't have one yet, write “none yet”.

Tell me the way you'd tell the person sitting next to you at a dinner. No need to impress.

The one you'd love to have more of. If you're not sure, say so too: that's a useful answer.

Optional. It helps me pitch the examples, not to judge anything.

Section 2

Your website and Google

This is where the day's work shows most, so I need the details.

Important: the day starts by connecting your accounts. If you don't have them, look for them this week – without them we can't touch anything.

It's what appears on the right when someone searches for your business, with the map, opening hours and reviews.

Section 3

Social media

No judgement. “I haven't posted for months” is the most common answer in the world.

For example: Instagram @mybusiness, LinkedIn Jane Smith. I'll take a look before the course.

Section 4

Your day-to-day

The section that matters most to me. Take your time with these.

No filter. Include the things you'd rather not admit, too.

Seriously, answer this one. Part of the day is about not breaking what already works for you.

The most important question in the Questionnaire. Think it through: it's the one that will decide how I organise your part of the day.

Section 5

Numbers and paperwork

Nobody else will see this. And “so-so, better not ask” is a perfectly valid answer.

Section 6

You and AI

You don't need to know anything. In fact, starting from zero usually goes better than arriving with bad habits.

You don't need to bring it set up: we create it together at the start of the day. Just bring a credit card for the subscription – I recommend the €90/month one, because with the cheapest one you run out of usage by mid-morning.

Section 7

For the day of the course

The last bit, and that's it.

Tick the THREE you need most. This is how I decide where we start and what we spend most time on.

It has to be a laptop, with Google Chrome installed. You can't work with a tablet or a phone.

Anything at all. Even if it's “I'm not sure this is for me”.

That's it.

Press the button and your WhatsApp opens with everything written. You just have to paste it and send.

If anything's half-finished, send it anyway: I'd rather have it incomplete and on time than perfect the night before.

Your answers are long: WhatsApp will get a summary. Open “WhatsApp didn't open?”, copy the full text and paste it to me.
WhatsApp didn't open?

Some phones block it from opening automatically. Copy the text below and paste it into our chat: it's exactly the same.
